KEYS, UUIDs, GUIDS etc

Keys are an important part of identifying and connecting to data objects.

The most common type of key is a Universal Unique Identifier (UUID) also some times referenced to as a GUID (Globally Unique ID).

entityOS automatically creates a GUID for every data object that is stored with in a space.  ie contacts, actions, users, products, invoices etc.

These GUIDS can then be used in many ways, eg;

• By the user interface to retrieve data
• Other systems to store a reference to a data object with in entityOS
• Generating QR codes
